Class Descriptions

All of our classes are open to any skill level. Each student will get individual attention so that you get the best experience for your skill level. Every student will be connected to a harness belt with safety lines plus there's a huge bouncy net to land on.

Open Level Class - 2 hours
This is a 2 hour class that is great for anyone age 8 and up. You will learn how to stay safe while around or on the trapeze rig and we will teach you skills / tricks appropriate for your level. The last half hour of class is reserved for all who want to attempt getting caught by our catcher who swings from another trapeze bar. If you are a frequent flyer but have not flown with us before, please understand that your first time on our rig you must wear a harness belt before we decide you're safe enough to take it off. If your child is a mature 6 - 7 year old and you would like them to try an Open Level class, give us a call and we will be happy to discuss your options with you. You must pre-register for this class. No more than 10 people per class. If you are new to the Trapeze Club, please show up 15 minutes early to fill out our waivers and to meet the team.

Kids & Teen Trapeze Class - 1 hour
Kids Trapeze class is for all kids from the age of 4 to 8.
Teens Trapeze class is for all kids / teens from the age of 9 to 15.
Your child / Teen will learn how to stay safe while around or on the trapeze rig and we will teach them skills / tricks appropriate for their level. Once they have perfected a skill / trick then we will progress them to a new one. If your child / Teen is a year younger or older then this class' age range and you think they would do well in this class, give us a call and we will be happy to discuss your options with you. You must pre-register for this class. No more than 8 students per class. If you are new to the Trapeze Club, please show up 15 minutes early to fill out our waivers and to meet the team. If you will not be attending with your child please download the 3 waivers,sign and bring them to class. Thank you.

Aerial Silks
Our new aerial arts program will provide instruction on the silks to students of all levels. Climb, wrap, twist and fall into this increasingly popular art form that provides an exciting alternative to fitness and personal growth. Our classes will incorporate stretching and strength training techniques that are unique to the skills you will be learning in the air. A structured warm up and cool down will be included in order to promote healthy workout habits. Come prepared to push your boundaries in a safe, supportive environment.
You must pre-register for this class. No more than 5 students per class. Privates are available please call or email for more info.

Trapeze & Rock Climbing Adventure: Fly in the morning, climb in the afternoon
Mountain Skills Climbing Guides is a fully-insured, AMGA accredited rock climbing service based in New York's Shawangunk and Catskill Mountains, affectionately known to climbers as "The Gunks". Mountain Skills Climbing Guides was created to help aspiring climbers learn how to climb confidently and efficiently while fostering a sense of awareness about the natural environments climbers visit.
